Cardiology with Verbal consult: Includes evaluation of recent history, presenting problem, radiographs, ECG tracing and lab work. A verbal consult is provided within one business day, usually within hours of submission. A thorough written report is available within one business day.
Cardiology consult: Includes evaluation of recent history, presenting problem, radiographs, ECG tracing and lab work. A thorough written report is available within one business day (no verbal consult is provided).
Medicine with Verbal consult: Includes evaluation of recent history, presenting problem, radiographs and lab work. A verbal consult is provided within one business day, usually within hours of submission. A thorough written report is available within one business day.
Medicine consult: Includes evaluation of recent history, presenting problem, radiographs and lab work. A thorough written report is available within one business day (no verbal consult is provided).
Ultrasound consult: Includes evaluation of recent history, presenting problem, ultrasound images, radiographs and lab work by a radiologist. A thorough written report is available within 24 hours (no verbal consult is provided).

Routine ECG: Ideal for stable patients when a comprehensive written report by the next business day is adequate (no verbal report).
Pre-operative ECG: The evaluation specifically addresses the presence of abnormalities which would be contraindications for anesthesia. A faxed response is sent within 15-30 minutes.
STAT ECG: Immediate verbal consultation with a cardiologist (within minutes) to assess critical care patients. A comprehensive written report is available within one business day.
Recheck ECG: A recheck ECG from the same patient may be submitted within 24 hours at no additional charge.
ECG recorders for rent:
Event recorder: An event recorder is appropriate to use when an animal has intermittent syncopal episodes. The animal wears the recorder for one week, and the owner can activate the recorder when a syncopal episode occurs. The ECG just prior and just after the event will be recorded (up to 5 events can be recorded).

24-hour Holter monitor: A 24-hour Holter monitor is appropriate to use when an animal has frequent syncopal episodes or an arrhythmia that needs to be document and/or quantified over one 24-hour period.
