
Configuring VetPACS (versions 3.5.x and above) to send telemedicine cases to DarkHorse
Steps:
1. Click here for instructions on how to check your VetPACS version. (click here to get this in PDF format)
2. Make appropriate configuration change. Below are the instructions that apply to versions 3.5.x. Click here if you have another version of VetPACS.
3. Send in a case. If you receive an error message, please call DarkHorse at (877) 727-6800, or e-mail info@darkhorsemed.com to confirm that they have your clinic information entered correctly.
Configuration change instructions:
Step 1– To change the URL to send directly to DarkHorse, please follow instructions below.
A) Go to Configuration (See Orange arrow Diagram 1) in the top left hand corner of VetPACS
B) Go to Application Settings (See Green arrow Diagram 1)
C) Go to Telemed/PracMgmt (See Purple arrow Diagram 2).
D) Continue to step 2 below.

Step 2– Adding DarkHorse URL
A) Click on Add button (See Orange arrow Diagram 3)
B) Go to Service Name and type in, “Darkhorse” (See Green arrow Diagram 3)
C) Go to Web Service URL and type in the URL below
http://www.darkhorsemedweb.com/DarkHorse/SubmissionService.asmx?WSDL (See Purple arrow Diagram 3).
D) Click on Update (See Blue arrow Diagram 3).
